I want to make cocktail weenies but dont have a crockpot. Can I just use a saucepan and if so how long should I let them sit? Help!

I would actually cook then in the oven in a casserole dish or roast pan at 325 for an hour. Use the same amount of sauce, maybe a little more. This would give them a more even heat.

You can use a saucepan, put a lid on andn bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to very low and leave them until they all eaten.
Or put them in a deep casserole dish in the oven at about 250 for 2-3 hours.

Use any size of sauce pan or pot you have depending on how much your making, and simmer on low for maybe an hour. You can do this also in the oven.

Put them in a saucepan and simmer on low until they are heated through.
To keep them warm, wrap a towel or several layers of aluminum foil around the dish you are serving them on or set it on a warmer plate.
