I’m not looking for wine/mulled wine/wine punch ideas, rather cocktail ideas, and ideally ones that can be batched. We’ll have plenty of wine, but we want to mix things up. The drinks should be yummy, potent, but with minimal hangover potential (is there such a thing?). My two ideas are batching up Jack Roses or a Bourbon Milk Punch. Thanks!

Turkey martini!
take some gravy and mix it with vodka, and garnish with some turkey… actually i posted this as a joke, but thinking again, it might not be horrible, especially if you used gin or a whiskey instead of vodka.
in more practical terms… cranberries are VERY common food at thanksgiving and of course, the most common cocktail with cranberry would be a cosmo.

I know you said you’re not looking for wine ideas, but tis the season for Beaujolais Nuveau - once a year that wine is put on the market because it’s light, fruity and slightly dry - goes great with Turkey! It’s meant to be drank young and doesn’t age. Or, you could make Sangria. There are hundreds of recipes for Sangria found on the web.
As for cocktails, I agree with the cosmo idea - or you could serve Vodka Cranberry. Or, my favorite Martini is the Lemon Drop. 2 parts Vodka, One part Lemon Drop mix (you can find it by the bottle at World Market) and dip the rim of the glass into the lemon/sugar mixture (also at World Market).

This is a great site, from the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. For over 10 years they have been producting an award-winning magazine.
Use their search engine to look for drink recipes. I can personally vouch for
Blueberry Orange made with Grandmarnier
Pom Cider
Apple Ginger Sparkling Punch (dark rum)
Muskoka Iced Tea
Autumn Breeze (a cold coffee cocktail with bourbon)
Well, just go browse yourself. Even a cocktail shaker drink can be batched by mixing larger batches in a pitcher, and just pouring into a shaker two at a time. No need to replenish the ice every time, since you keep making the same cocktail over and over.
