Liz asked:
I want to present desserts in cocktail glasses, and feel it would be easier to just bake them already in the glasses. Do they need to be specifically oven safe? Is the glass too thin and will shatter?

They will burst, you can only use oven safe glass or ceramic like ramekins.

I don’t think the glasses would be able to withstand the heat.

Most likely the glass would ***** from the heat unless it is tempered. Pyrex baking dishes, and other generic equivalents, are made from specially tempered glass. Cocktail glasses, especially, would never hold up to oven temps. You would do better to assemble your presentation after cooking anyway so that your finished dish is free of overflows and burned on spills.
