I never tasted egg nog with alcohol. Doesn’t alcohol spoil the milk and the egg? Does it taste disgusting?
I mean does the egg nog taste disgusting with alcohol?

I like it without alcohol. When you add alcohol, it doesn’t cause the milk to curdle or anything like that, it just makes it taste like it’s spiked with cough syrup. Ick.
I love a spruced up egg nog. Gets ya nice an warm on these cold winter nights. Add rum and whiskey to taste. Goes down easy and warms your bones right up! Makes you feel good quickly too!!

I didn’t know people drank it without the alcohol! I’ve always had rum in my egg nog.

It’s delicious with a little rum or Southern Comfort and a dusting of nutmeg. Use about 1/3 cup of alcohol per quart of egg nog. Merry Christmas!

I like it both ways. I prefer it without alcohol though.
