Is there really raw eggs in store bought egg-nog, or just the homeade version?

I am 5 months pregnant and coming up on the holiday season. I know that raw eggs are a no-no for pregnant women. However, does the store bought egg nog really have raw eggs in it??? Or are they cooked/pasteruized, something??

Has anyone been advised by their OB/GYN about not drinking store bought egg nog? I have an appointment in 2 weeks and plan to ask, but just curious for now.

How to make egg nog?

I’ve never actually tried egg nog, but it sure does sound good around this time of year. The thing is, I am low on ingredients. Most egg nog recipes I found on the internet require either nutmeg or vanilla extract, some things I don’t have around the house. However, I do have eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla ice cream and such. I am not looking for an alcoholic beverage, something for the family. Anyone have a recipe with the current ingredients I have?
