I want to make some homemade egg nog minus the eggs (and alcohol), and don’t want to use egg substitute… Sugar is no problem, sodium needs to be low as possible.

Thanks in advance!

If there is no eggs in it then it wouldn’t be egg nog would it? What would it be? Just nog?

quart soymilk
6 ounces Mori-Nu silken tofu, extra firm
6 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1½ teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon cardamom
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until creamy and smooth. Chill before serving.

Uhmmm, I tend to agree with Tim. It wont, be eggnog without the egg!! Anyway, egg nog is basically a custard (cream, eggs, sugar and some spices) So if you leave out the egg, you will end up with spicy cream or milk. why not just make hot cider if you don’t want eggs?
