Having my husband’s 40th birthday this summer. I really don’t want to deal with kegs & bottles & cans. We are not serving dinner, it is an evening/night party so I thought having a bar tending/service staff for drinks would be cool.

I just have no clue where to look online or in the yellow pages to find these types of services.

If you go to your favorite pub, bar restaurant ask the bar tender for suggestions. Ask him if there are people he knows that are reliable, honest, professional and trust worthy.

Just go to a local bar, esp where there are college kids and ask the bartender there if they know anyone. Some of my bartender friends get side jobs working for frats all the time. I would epect to pay about $20/hour three hour min plus tips plus maybe a case of beer to take home.
Draft beers are cheap but slow. I did it once and the home taps could only do about one a minute at best. Not good when you have a line of 20 people. See if you can rent a CO2 system for the night.

You could pay a family member to do it for you! BUT!!!!!!!!
Before you do anything I would check with your city officials to make sure there is no paper work you need to serve people outside in the open like for a BBQ. The city may have certain rules. Be sure to check dont want to be bailing ya out of jail or anything like that. But I agree with your other answers so far, contact a local bar/pub and ask them for idea or numbers to call.
