Its not exactly a poem in the sense that is flows and rhymes. To me its just up front and straight to the point although the descriptions are good they leave no room for the imagination. I do give you credit for the topic being Summer time because that’s something that a lot of people can relate to with there own child hood memories.

I love it!! It’s not so much a poem to where it rhymes but like I love what it talks about. It’s all totally true!

Summer is
Summer is in June
it is also the longest day of the year
People would go on summer vacations
to visit relatives.
Summer is a time to wear less
( bikini or bathing suit )
Summer is running under the sprinkler
or turning it on someone else.
Summer is getting that suntan
Its also about going swimming
drinking lots of water and once
can’t get enough of lemonade.
Summer is hot
Make sure you have your
sunscreen, sunglasses insect repellant
