I’m 20, live in Wisconsin, and just got 3 tickets New Years for drinking. They were Underage Enter on a licensed premise, Disorderly Conduct, and Underage drinking.

These were all my first offense.

I’m a junior in college and have an internship this summer.

Should I go to court?
Should I get a lawyer?
How will this affect my future employment?

My daughter seems to drink and urinate a lot, two of the symptoms that are for Type 2 diabetes. I don’t know if it is just because it’s summer or whether it’s something to be concerned about. She doesn’t seem to have other symptoms, and if it continues I’m going to call her pediatrician…but I was just wondering if anyone else had a child that drank so much? She usually drinks an 8 oz sippy cup of juice/water or milk in the morning and can slam two down within a half hour when she gets home from daycare. They give her water and milk at daycare, but I’m not exactly sure how much she’s drinking there…they haven’t mentioned that it seems excessive, but…mommies tend to worry. Thanks for any thoughts or personal experiences with something like this!

Summer is…..
Waking up at 12:00 to the sound of a lawnmower.
It’s eating popsicles for lunch and drinking nothing but lemonade.
Summer is spending all day in your bathing suit.
It’s wearing your flip-flops so much that they form to your feet.
It’s not caring what anything or anyone thinks and just being yourself.

I need a quick and easy “summer” recipe for a get together my friends are hosting. (a house warming party) They asked that we bring a dish and the recipe (recipes will be added to their new home’s cookbook as a house warming gift). And because it is a BBQ i think many people will bring “grilling” recipes i would like to bring something that won’t need to take up space on the grill that maybe already over flowing with meat. Any ideas for a side dish or a sweet, perhaps even a mixed drink or punch?

I just spent the last of my $300 received from the government.
I’ve spent it on beach supplies, pizzas, ice cream, & cold drinks for keeping cool this summer. Mostly on family owned businesses and local business.

Has it made any effects on our economy so far?

We have a friend on a farm who grows strawberries throughout the summer. So we get them by the basket. What are some good recipes that we could use fresh strawberries in? (I’m thinking more about desserts, drinks, and jams.) Thanks for your ideas!
