cbbcountess asked:
I have a 3 gallon plastic container that I bought at Walmart. I use it for my iced tea which we drink a lot of in the summer. I try to clean it thoroughly between uses, but there is a mold that gets into the handle that I cannot reach. I usually just throw them away after this happens, but it is getting expensive. Is there anything that will kill this stuff? It has to be something liquid, I would assume, since there is no other way to reach this area. Thank you so much in advance. Any suggestions are appreciated:)

Almost fill it with water to which you have added Dawn detergent and at least 1/2 cup Chlorox. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes, then rinse well.
Also use same solution to remove stains from cups.

Put it in the Dishwasher- top rack, of course. If you have a sani-wash setting or something similar, use that setting. It should help clean up the container pretty well. Hope this helps.
