I highly doubt it. I actually got a bill from the IRS for taxes owed a few years ago when I was almost bankrupt and couldn’t afford to have my taxes done. The bill was for over $2000 with about $800 in penalties and interest. Thanks for making the economy great George Bush.

Beach Supplies: Made In China (No Impact)
Pizza: Made in America (Good for America)
Ice Cream: Made in America (Good for America)
Cold Drinks: Made in America (Good for America)
Looks to me like you are spending your money in the right places. Buy American and its good. Buy Chinese, and your just exporting those dollars to China and doing nobody in America any good.

We own our own business and have been greatly affected by this bad economy. I talk to allot of other business owners and they are feeling it hard too. Unemployment is higher than ever, and costs are so high for everyday items-I think these checks just helped supplement the cost of living for everyone I have spoken too. I have not spoken with one person who just purchased something with it. If we could get these checks every month (like cut our taxes) then maybe eventually it would help stimulate the economy. For right now it just bailed people out of a tough time which they will have to face all over again next month-only without the stimulus check!

Doubt it…
With so many Americans drowning in debt I bet people used that money to pay debt, buy gas, or pay bills. My family got a check for $1800 and because we are in a couple thousand dollars in debt, we didn’t go to the mall and spend it.
As for the stimulus checks, I think its to late to help the economy. They won’t make a difference. The economy has crashed and its burning. I hope the firefighters come soon(a damn miracle to save our ass)
