Sam Summer Seasonal. Perfect summertime beer, it’s not too heavy but is perfect for the beach or pool.

I’m not a big fan of beer either but I love Coronas!!! Most people drinkt hem with lime but I like lemon.

I would go with a Hefeweizen or a Summer Ale. Try a microbrew such as Brooklyn, Saranac, or Harpoon. For Hefeweizens, consider a lemon or orange slice with it. Another good summer beer is Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat.

I don’t prefer light beers either but also don’t like too dark of a beer in the hot weather. These beers are refreshing but still have good flavor.

    Spaten Hefeweisen

The wheat beers from Germany are all perfect summer beers and have way more flavor than any crappy light.

Widmer Brothers Hefeweisen - Produced and distributed by Red Hood Brewery. It’s an unfiltered wheat ale, goes good with a lemon and is a good beer to quench your thirst while providing a good flavor also. The wheat in the beer helps your body process the alcohol also and prevents hangovers.
    Nothing but plusses there.

Magic Hat #9 - Slight hinit of Apricot gives this beer a great finish. Goes down smooth

Newcastle Brown Ale - Darker beer with a smooth flavor. Quite refreshing brew.

Killian’s Irish Red - I’m not much of a lager drinker, but after a game (baseball) I enjoy one of these before I switch to Red Hook.

Stay away from cheap beers (Bud, Miller, Coors, PBR, etc.) they’ll only give you headaches and make you feel more thirsty. A good quality beer makes a big difference in your enjoyment. If there are some breweries in your area, try taking the tours and sampling what they have to offer, you may find that you like a good IPA over anything I suggested. Beer comes in many different flavors and types and each person has their own preference. Here’s to hoping you find yours.
Happy 21st (very early) and drink responisbly.

Unfortunately in summer light beer is best, however if you want to go for Corona.

ok whoever said those dark beers are very wrong. it gives your mouth a sour after taste. blah.

I have been doing alot of poolside chillen and my drink of choice in the heat is bud light.

I know, I know it’s bud light, but it is a very refreshing drink to have by a pool cause it won’t make you more thirsty by drinking it.

I thoroughly enjoy Red Stripe during the summertime for some odd reason. Then again, I enjoy it anytime. But, especially during summer :)
I also like to drink Beck’s and Pilsner Urquell during the summer.

Seriously, a sierra nevada pale ale out of the ice chest- drink it super cold and there’s nothing like it in summer. You also might like some of the mexican beers like Pacifico, Bohemia, or Dos Equis- make sure they’re cold and put a lime in them. Yummm.

Lleinenkugel’s summer shandy. The best!! Check out there web

  17. bmo Says:

Corona with a lime. By far the best summer drink you’ll find while sitting at the pool. Landshark is also very similar and now Mich Ultra has a new cactus lime flavored beer that is phenomenal

Genesee Cream Ale in cans out of a cooler loaded with ice. Award winner and cheap - nectar of the gods!

    Tröegs Summer Pils

    Quite refreshing.
