Just being me =] asked:


I’m 16 years old, female and I have gained weight throughout the school year. I’d like to go from a size 9 in jeans to a size 7 or 5 and/or lose 10-20 pounds. In the summer I work out alot because I have much more timeto do so. I usually just run on the treadmil and do the fat burner program for 30 minutes to an hour and another program afterwards. I’d like to tone my arms and abs. What exercises should I do to accomplish that other than crunches & situps? How many times a weeks should I run? so far I have done about 3 days a week.

MORE Importantly I need to change what I eat. I don’t eat alot but I eat the wrong things. I don’t eat candy often. But I LOVE to eat bread and peanut butter. I’m not a fan of whole wheat. In the summer I eat less than I do duriing the school year. Idk why but thats how it is with me. My mom asked me to make a list of things I want for my diet but I need help with that? I was thinking for fruits maybe bananas, grapes or pineapple. I don’t like vegeatbles but id be okay with eating peas or lettuce. Should i eat smaller servings but more meals? Lately I’ve only been eating 2 meals a day because i wake up late. Can you give me any helpful tips or ideas for healthy snacks for me to eat.

I’m not going to drink soda this summer but I love love love apple juice. I’m trying to drink moore water though.

    Eat smaller size portions of meals as well as drinking a lot of water.

    Eating lots of fruits for snacks like bananas (you can get some of your fruits in juices like the V8 fusion and also in yogurt form).

    Also, in addition to the treadmill try a bit of regular walking as well and even lifting weights (start off light).
