I do not know if this is the one you are talking about when I grew up m mom called it Watergate salad. Happy Thanksgiving!………. Sometime we used fruit cocktail or mandarin oranges

I’ve always heard that a Honeymoon salad is…..lettuce alone!
Honeymoon Salad
1/2 package mini marshmallows
1 cup minced maraschino cherries
1/3 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 10 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
14 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 pint sour cream
1 cup flaked coconut
Combine all ingredients, stir to blend. Cover and chill, then serve.

1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple, in juice, undrained
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
COMBINE marshmallows, dry pudding mix, pineapple and pecans in large bowl until well blended.
ADD whipped topping; stir gently until well blended. Cover.
REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

Do a search for Ambrosia salad recipe or Honeymoon Salad Recipe and you will find they are the same thing. I am sure you can find one you like.
